I saw this on Facebook, posted by John Delmar, and thought I’d snag it for this blog. All this is true!

This is a special 20th anniversary performance!
I write this morning from my hotel in Traverse City, Michigan, just yards from Grand Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan itself.
My morning was spent outdoors, a stone’s throw from the lake. I sat at a picnic table and finished editing 120 pages of The Journal of the Conductors Guild, this in my role as Publications Chair for that organization.
I love the water, and to be that close, in mild sunshine, with the quiet call of the gulls sounding nearby, was heaven on earth.
This afternoon my boss and I represent Webster University at Interlochen at a performing arts college fair.

The first Bach’s Lunch of the year featured the classical guitar ensemble, with each member also having a solo turn.
Freshman Eliot Wilde played some Bach. So did the group of four. And a fun thirty minutes was had by all!
The next Bach’s Lunch is Friday, October 28 at 12.05 p.m.
