Opera scenes
Tonight’s opera scenes production – scaled back, acoustic, piano-only, built for the singers – was a joy and treat and thoroughly entertaining 80 minutes. I’m so pleased and proud for our students! The moments of humor were just right, and the ‘I’m going to overact and enjoy it’ ham-it-up bits were a delight.
The free show repeats on Saturday at 7 in the Community Music School (535 Garden Ave 63119) room 10. You will find it difficult to locate a better free place to be on Saturday night this week if you’re in the Saint Louis area!
