First day

by Jeffrey Carter

At 1.33 p.m., I’m just finishing a quick wolf-down of lunch.  The morning has been incredibly busy, but quite good.  I’ve had no questions I couldn’t answer, or couldn’t send elsewhere for an answer.  I’m calling most of the new students by name already.  The music building is alive again.  And smiles are all around.  So are hugs.
