Every once in a while the stars align in such a way that I accomplish many, many things in one day. Such was today!
I plowed through a deferred list, dealt with audition details from last week and for next week, and took care of a pile of phone calls. And I taught two lessons and had four meetings.
But . . . first thing this morning . . . I received word that the father of one of our voice majors had died unexpectedly during the night. In the midst of life, we are in death. So say the Book of Common Prayer, and so are we all. We grieve as a family for our friend and fellow musician.
