Jennifer Johnson, a Webster University 2006 alumna, sang a benefit recital last week for the Nigh Opera Scholarship Fund.
Jenn, a mezzo-soprano with a grad degree from Rice, is currently in the young artist training program at the Metropolitan Opera. She wowed us with Berio and Barber, Britten and Brahms. And then two sentimental encores that had many in the audience wiping away tears.
We’re awfully proud of Jenn, and know that she has a brilliant career ahead of her!
