Steinway day 1.05 p.m.

by Jeffrey Carter

Prof. Carole Gaspar is playing Brahms on her new piano.  I just went upstairs and sang Wie bist du, meine Königen with her at the keyboard.  There’s nothing like Brahms to christen a new piano.

Prof. Gaspar is remarking on the substantial response from the bass notes in the piano.

Dan Hitchell, our finance guy, was over a few minutes ago and noted the difference between even the Boston and the Steinway upright.

This purchase is a game-changer, no doubt!

And while I am writing, Webster staff are just feet from my west window, pulling apart the wooden flats for recycling and re-using.  This is a green purchase, too.
