We invite you to experience our musical offerings for Fall 2011!  Here are a few of the concerts and recitals in the next two weeks.  As always, more details on these performances and up-to-date information on all Department of Music offerings, including near-nightly student recitals, small ensemble performances, and guest master classes is available at www.webster.edu/music, or simply click here for the direct calendar link.  Performance locations vary, so please check carefully in order to ascertain the specific hall.

In the next two weeks . . .

Monday, October 24 at 7 p.m. – Jazz at Webster: TKT Scholarhip 20th Anniversary Benefit Concert with Ralph Butler, Denise Thimes, and Debby Lennon; Loretto-Hilton Center, Webster Groves. $20 cash or check at the door.  This major event is at the Loretto-Hilton Center on campus.

Friday, October 28 at 12.05 p.m. – Bach’s Lunch, a 30-minute mid-day concert; Moore Auditorium, 470 E Lockwood.  Free.

Sunday, October 30 at 2 and 3 p.m. – National Opera Week celebration, featuring faculty and students with selected opera arias; Plaza Frontenac.  Free.

Sunday, October 30 at 7 p.m. – Webster Presents: Webster University Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Singers; Community Music School, 535 Garden Ave.  $

Parking for Moore Auditorium is available in lots near Webster Hall and on Lockwood Avenue.  Parking for the Community Music School and Loretto-Hilton Center for Sunday and Monday concerts is in the Garden Avenue parking garage.
