A rich week

by Jeffrey Carter

We’ve had a rich week . . . .

Sunday evening = Webster University Chamber Orchestra concert.

Monday evening = Webster Jazz Collective concert, and a very interesting one at that.

Tuesday = Curriculum Committee considered and approved some minor changes in the Music Education degrees.

Monday and Wednesday = visits from two different music theory & composition professor candidates.

Friday = faculty meeting and final decision on a job offer to a new colleague, a choral festival with guest artist David Rayl, and tonight a concert featuring the Webster choirs, led by David Rayl.

And one of our colleagues is probably going to give birth to a daughter, a first-born child, in the next 24 hours.

Life is rich in the Department of Music at Webster University!
