First week down

Our first week of school went smoothly.  And I am gratified.

We hosted two seminars this week:

  1. Dr. Andrew Schuette, an audiologist from Washington University ENT center.
  2. Vanity Gee, a Harvard-alum arts in education advocate and organizer.

And a good time was had by all!

Also this week: we finalized plans for Christine Brewer’s residency in American art song next month, and we had a not-yet-ready-to-announce conversation with a major local player, one that will involve a student or two.

And our Music-major enrollment is up 10% from this time last year.
