In the past month, I have fielded two extraordinary requests.
About a month ago, a local law firm rang me. “We’d like to hire you to be an expert witness in a case involving a music professor at another school.” And so it was that wrote a long brief, and billed the law firm for my time and expertise.
The firm told me last week that my writing was a key ingredient in them winning the case.
Today I received a request from a professor at another private university. “May I please have reprint permission to use a photo you took at the Twigworth church in Gloucestershire? I want to use it in a book that I’m writing.” Of course I granted permission.
Who knows what people will find on the Web!?
