Hallway overhaul
Over the last few weeks, the 100-year-0ld Thompson House, our music building, has received some sprucing up. Paint, work on doors and windows, redecoration – all point toward a season of celebration of this grand building. One of the blessings of communication these days is email. Instead of written memos piling up and then going lost, email helps us stay immediate. It’s Friday, August 21, 2009. New students gathered for orientation today at Webster University. I spent my last full day in the office of ‘summer’ 2009.
